Couture Cushions by Tamerlane’s Daughters are inspired by the romance and splendour of the palaces of the Orient.
Sewn of antique and rare, if not last-of-their-kind, fabrics – each one is imbued with a unique, magnificent history.
Karina spent two years perfecting their construction and detailing. Couture techniques such as structural ‘corset seams’ help our cushions retain shape, and each design is finished with hand-embroidery and other delicate forms of embellishment.
It is an intricate process that takes an average of fifteen hours to complete. With love and care, our Couture Cushions will be cherished for generations.
